The Animal Rehabilitation Centre

Integrating Canine Hydrotherapy, Veterinary Physiotherapy, Aquatherapy and Animal Behaviour Training.

The Animal Rehabilitation Centre has been established since 2010 providing our clients with the means of assisting their animal’s recovery both in mind and body – all under one roof!

Our dedicated and expert team will deliver a professional, gentle and skilled approach to your animal’s care.

Thorough assessments are carried out prior to the start of any of our treatment programmes and for behaviour and clinical care your veterinary surgeon will be constantly updated.

A wealth of experience and qualifications coupled with the ability to work as a team ensure we are able to put together comprehensive rehabilitation packages for every animal referred to us.

The Animal Rehabilitation Centre is audited by the Canine Hydrotherapy Association. Individual qualified members of The ARC Rehab Team are accredited by their respective bodies, to include the Register of Animal Musculoskeletal Practitioners, the Canine Hydrotherapy Association and Tellington Touch UK.

Canine Hydrotherapy

Hydrotherapy encourages a full range of joint motion in reduced weight conditions, thus improving muscle tone and promoting repair without imposing undue stress on damaged tissues.
Veterinary Physiotherapy

The purpose of Veterinary Physiotherapy is to restore and maintain mobility, function, independence and performance, tailoring treatments to each individual animal’s condition and the stage of rehabilitation.

Aquatherapy provides a range of physiotherapy derived exercises carried out on an underwater platform sited in heated water to enhance sensory perception promoting improved gait and strength.
Animal Behaviour Training

Bespoke consultations help teach a change in attitude and handling, utilising a good use of body language to help you, your animal and your family’s life more enjoyable.

Our dedicated and skilled team will deliver a professional, gentle approach to your animal’s care.
